Martini in 1938. MR boasts having planted the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon in the U.S. in 1940. The vineyard is on the Southwest side of the Mayacamas Mountains between 690’ and 1300’ elevation in the Moon Mountain District AVA above Sonoma Valley.
