Yarra Valley is a special place, with unique expression. Pinot Noir is a go-to here and Mac Forbes family gives a great Aussie contrast from Victoria to the Willamette Valley Pinots. This Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is a medium to light body wine with a medium to high acidity and fine grippy tannins. On the nose, you get cherries, tobacco, garden mint, star anise, Palatae Notes of tart blackberry, sour red cherry, dried rose and cranberry. Slatey with good length.
