2022 Andrew Will Two Blondes Vineyard Cuvee Lucia Semillon, Yakima Valley, WA
The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Cuvée Lucia Two Blondes is smoky in the glass, with musky peach and apricot giving way to dusty dried flowers. There's a sense of opulence filling the palate with ripe orchard fruits complemented by candied citrus nuances carried by a core of vibrant acidity. A salty flourish is left to linger through the cheek-puckering finale, as green apple and mint notes slowly fade. In 2021, this is a blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Sémillon.
Andrew Will Winery has always had a focus on creating wines with a sense of place. Since the first vintage in 1989, Chris Camarda has been labeling his wines with the vineyard name on the front label to establish a sense of place from the different vineyards across Washington State. We believe that each vineyard that we work with has unique attributes that set them apart from each other.
Vashon Island Winery, on of the more boutique and unique areas for winemaking in the PNW, the winery pulls grapes from Vashon and the top growing regions throughout Washington State.
The name Andrew Will is the blend of his son and nephew's names.
