This Prosecco Brut is spicy and wickedly fresh, with tart apple and chamomile complemented by notes of ginger and smoky minerals. It’s smooth with a creamy bead of delicate bubbles contrasted by nervous acids, coming across as quite savory and refined. Energy remains high, as the palate aches with residual tension while resonating on sweet and sour citrus and dried apricots. This beautiful and elegant expression of Prosecco is a pleasure to taste.
Bianca Vigna winery is a family affair. It all started when Elena Moschetta created the winery in 2004 with her brother Enrico, who, for the first time ever, made sparkling wines with grapes grown in their family vineyards that belonged to their grandfather Genesio since the beginning of 20th century. Elena handles the administrative and marketing side while Enrico does the farming and winemaking. The wine itself is actually named after Elena’s daughter, Bianca. Bianca Vigna Prosecco is made from 100% Glera grapes sourced from the hillside vineyards between Conegliano and Farra di Soligo. Everything is harvested by hand before being gently pressed and fermented in typical Prosecco fashion.
