YUZY was born from a simple but powerful observation: people at Ramon Saldivar’s renowned Mexican restaurant were ordering more margaritas than food. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the restaurant industry, co-founders Ariel Flores and Ramon Saldivar seized the opportunity to bottle their famous cocktails and deliver them to the masses. What they found in the market was a sea of mixes that lacked real fruit, contained undesirable additives, and fell far short of authenticity. YUZY was created to bridge that gap — a true margarita that captures the essence of a genuine Mexican experience, free from chemicals and artificial flavors. The name YUZY — a playful nod to the word “juicy” — perfectly encapsulates the brand’s commitment to vibrant, flavorful, and invigorating beverages rooted in authentic Latinx culture.
