2022 Gen5 Sauvignon Blanc, Lodi, California

Classic Mediterranean Sauvignon Blanc. Lodi takes advantage of the gap between the northern and southern coastal ranges surrounding the San Francisco Bay. As the day’s temperature rises, cool breezes drift in from the Delta, keeping the nights cool which is ideal for the development of complexity in finished wines. 

This wine is bright, medium straw yellow.  It expresses delicate aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and white flowers. Notes of melon, lemongrass and gooseberry grace the palate and are framed by the clean and balanced finish.

Female winemaker Karen Birmingham creates this wine as a blend of 98% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Chenin Blanc. It is stainless steel fermented and aged sur lie and all sustainably farmed.
