Wine Producer / Historical Notes

Founder and wine négociant Lindile Ndzaba launched Khayelitsha’s Finest Wines in 2018. The Black-owned brand is rooted in Khayelitsha, the Cape Town township where he was born, raised, and continues to live.

Lindile began working in hospitality as a dishwasher in 2009, later moving into restaurant management and learning about wine through sommeliers and winemaker tastings. He developed KFW as a small-batch négociant project, sourcing wines across the Western Cape and collaborating with established winemakers and vineyards to curate his blends.

Through tastings and pairings with traditional African foods, KFW works to make wine appreciation more accessible while celebrating its Khayelitsha roots.
