Wine Producer / Historical Notes

Old Soul is a label of Oak Ridge Winery, a family-owned producer with roots in Lodi stretching back to 1906, when Angelo and Louisa Maggio arrived from Italy. The family planted its first vineyard cuttings in 1928.

In 2002, Rudy Maggio acquired the former winemaking cooperative and expanded the family’s grape-growing legacy into wine production. His three daughters now oversee winery operations, continuing the multigenerational story. This wine comes from a woman-owned producer and a woman winemaker.
