YUZY's captivating tale begins with Ariel Flores and Ramon Saldivar, two individuals with an unwavering passion for Mexican culture and cuisine.  

Ramon is the owner of a renowned Mexican restaurant well-known for crafting the freshest of cuisine — and that includes their delectable beverages. When the restaurant industry took a hit during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ariel and Ramon seized the opportunity to bottle their famous cocktails and deliver them to the masses.  

They began to notice something intriguing within their restaurant: People were ordering more margaritas than food. This revelation sparked their curiosity, leading to an in-depth exploration. What they found was a saturated market filled with margarita mixes that fell short of authenticity and quality.  

These commercial mixes lacked real fruit, often contained undesirable additives, and paled in comparison to the concoctions they crafted at their restaurant. YUZY aimed to bridge the gap in the industry by creating a true margarita — a drink that captures the essence of a genuine Mexican experience, free from the shackles of chemicals and artificial flavors. 

Ariel and Ramon’s Mexican heritage played a vital role in shaping YUZY's identity. They emphasized the significance of authentic flavors, drawing inspiration from the bold and unique approach to food they enjoyed while growing up in Mexico. After careful consideration of over 100 options, the YUZY team discovered the perfect name for their groundbreaking product, one that is instantly memorable. The name YUZY perfectly encapsulates the essence of their product (not to mention looking stunning on the bottle). A playful nod to the word "juicy," the name draws inspiration from the founders’ Latinx heritage and symbolizes the company's unwavering commitment to creating a vibrant, flavorful, and invigorating beverage.
