YUZY was born from a simple but powerful observation: people at Ramon Saldivar’s renowned Mexican restaurant were ordering more margaritas than food. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the restaurant industry, co-founders Ariel Flores and Ramon Saldivar saw an opportunity to bottle their famous cocktails and share them with more people. They found a sea of mixes that lacked real fruit, contained undesirable additives, and fell far short of authenticity. YUZY was created to bridge that gap — a true margarita that captures the essence of a genuine Mexican experience, free from chemicals and artificial flavors. Ariel and Ramon’s Mexican heritage shaped every aspect of YUZY’s identity, drawing on the bold, unique approach to food and drink they grew up with in Mexico. The name YUZY—a playful nod to the word “juicy”—perfectly captures the brand’s commitment to vibrant, flavorful, invigorating beverages rooted in authentic Latinx culture.
