Celler Piñol is based in Batea, a village in Catalonia’s Terra Alta region. The estate farms organically and focuses on indigenous varieties, including Garnacha Blanca, Garnacha Tinta, Cariñena, and Morenillo.

Winemaker Cristina Borrull joined the estate in 2018 and oversees day-to-day winemaking, working with the Piñol family and consulting winemaker Toni Coca. The wines reflect a combination of traditional regional grapes and modern cellar techniques, with Terra Alta’s limestone soils and Mediterranean landscape shaping their character.
