We love CHO!

Lois and Dave Cho who founded Cho Wines several years back. Dave Cho, who is Cho Wines founder/winemaker, was introduced to the world of winemaking while performing music at local wineries in southern California and grew his passion for the trade while meditating with monks in Burgundy and sipping through California and beyond. Cho moved his family from California to Oregon to pursue a career in the wine industry and has a degree in Enology & Viticulture from Oregon State University. While in Oregon Cho trained at Argyle Winery and Stoller Family Estate. In 2020, he finally made his own wine label. He is the first Korean-American winemaker in Oregon.

As the first Korean-American vintners in Oregon, Lois and Dave Cho are doing more than building a vineyard estate - they're building a community.- Seven Fifty Daily, Drinks Innovators 2023

All their wines are phenominal! This one is extra special, with only 200 cases available.

A reserve selected from Dave’s favorite barrels from varying vineyards across the Willamette Valley. Handpicked, sustainably sourced, vinified separately, and blended before bottling. A barrel selection of 100% Pinot Noir from Cancilla Vineyard, Luvi Vineyard, Robinson Vineyard, and Sylvia Vineyard.

Fresh and inviting aromas of black and ripe red fruits and orange blossom. Subtle rhubarb and cherry dance around from nose to palate. A soft and refined flavor profile of blackberry and blueberry, black tea, and allspice. Fine tannins and pulsing acidity. Elegant and supple finish with finesse.

This popular red grape originated in Burgundy but has spread across the New World. Like its white Burgundian counterpart Chardonnay, Pinot Noir is early-budding, early-ripening and thin-skinned. The sites where it tends to thrive can experience tough growing conditions, which lead to more rigorous fruit selection and lower yields. This is one of the reasons that high-quality Pinot Noir often carries a higher price tag than other wines.
