Intense nose, in which dark fruit, such as blackberries, and the garrigue mingle with roasted notes. Notes of red fruit and the elegance of the tannins are immediately apparent and lead with enticement. The palate then develops, with lots of roundness, to more complex notes of spices and garrigue. Good length, ending with a harmonious balance between finesse and density.
Blason d’Aussières is a refined Corbières wine from Domaine d'Aussières (part of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite), offering a sun-drenched expression of the Languedoc region. It blends Carignan, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache to create a balanced, approachable profile. This wine delights with a brilliant, dark red color and a welcoming bouquet of ripe blackberry, juicy black cherry, and aromatic Mediterranean herbs (garrigue). On the palate, it is remarkably smooth and supple, featuring plush, luscious dark fruit flavors that feel silky and well-rounded. The structure is elegant rather than harsh, providing a generous, fruit-forward experience with a refreshing, clean finish.
Blason de l'Evangile is the second wine of the prestigious Château L'Evangile, a leading estate located in the Pomerol appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, France. Owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1990, the estate produces highly regarded wines, with Blason de l'Evangile offering a more accessible, fruit-driven alternative to the Grand Vin, often ready to drink sooner.
