Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red color with a round bouquet of mature red fruits — cherries and blackberries. Bindi Sergardi is a family business that has remained under the same ownership since 1400, extending over the Sienese hills across just over a thousand hectares divided into four estates. Today the estate is managed by Nicolo Casini and his daughter Alessandra Casini Bindi Sergardi — two generations who have emphasized quality winemaking through constant attention to the territory and faithful interpretation of its characteristics. The I Colli estate, from which the Achille IGT comes, is located in the northern part of the Province of Siena and represents the history and soul of 23 generations of the Bindi Sergardi family. The term “Super Tuscan” refers to IGT Toscana wines that blend the primary Tuscan grape Sangiovese with non-indigenous varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Syrah — a designation officially recognized by Italy’s wine classification system to designate wines of superior quality from Tuscany.
