The nose opens with aromas of sweet red cherry, some spices, and a hit of raspberry. The palate is light and delicate with zippy acid and a flavor set of soft cherry and raspberry nicely balanced by just there pepper and baking spice notes. Friendly and fresh yet mouth-filling and robust, Camp's simple, delicious red-fruited character has the lucky drinker reaching for another sip without even thinking!
The 2022 Camp Zinfandel is 95% from the Lolonis Vineyard in Redwood Valley and 5% from the Vecino Vineyard in Potter Valley. They have a long history with both sites and appreciate the integration of fruit and structure they both offer.  All lots were fermented in stainless steel tanks with moderate temperatures to control extraction and then aged in French oak barrels of varying ages.

This 1% for the Planet, biodynamic, and organic winery is about as eco-friendly as it gets. Founded by owner Kenny Likitprakong, Japanese-American,  in 2002, Hobo Wines are made across dozens of California AVAs and varietals.

CAMP was started by The HOBO Wine Company (as part of their collection from vineyard sites all organically sustainable throughout California) in 2011 to showcase the high quality and value Sonoma County has to offer. They believe you don’t have to sacrifice quality for accessibility and affordability, and all CAMP wines are made with certified organic grapes. In addition to farming some of the vineyard themselves, they work with top growers and vineyard managers throughout Sonoma County to produce table ready, food friendly, and approachable wines.
