2021 Brown Estate Zinfandel, Napa Valley, CA

It has a garnet core and ruby rim, and hallmark notes of dried hibiscus flowers, rose petals, Asian spice, violets, cedar, vanilla, allspice, and ginger spice box. It expresses continuously aromatic and powerful upfront fruit into the palate; Kumquat, exotic spice, wild strawberries, raspberries, Rainier cherry. Time in glass reveals guava nectar, bay laurel, and traces of smoked meat, saddle, and graphite.  A medium-bodied, soft, smooth, and supple with a lush, creamy mouthfeel. Beautifully integrated with an endless finish. Classic Zin, as it should be!

Founded in 1995 by siblings Deneen, David & Coral Brown, Brown Estate produced its first Napa Valley zinfandel in 1996 and decided to move the winemaking in-house.
