2026 Summer Shades of Vino Collection has arrived to delight you.
This summer, Shades of Vino invites you on a journey across America's vineyards, cellars, family tables, and wine trails with our Summer 2026 theme:
VINTAGE AMERICA

★ 250 YEARS ★
As our nation approaches the 250th Anniversary and celebration of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, we wanted to create a collection that celebrates something we can all appreciate - people, community, craftsmanship, tradition, innovation, music, food and the stories that bring us together around the table.
While grapes have been growing on this continent long before our nation was founded, the story of American wine continues to evolve through the people who cultivate it, steward it, and share it with all of us. This collection is not intended to represent every region, producer, family, or voice that has helped shape American wine. No single collection ever could. Instead, Vintage America offers a cross-country journey through a remarkable group of winemakers, growers, families, pioneers, and innovators who each contribute something uniquely American to the glass.
From the shores of the Finger Lakes, where producers continue to quietly redefine what cool-climate viticulture can achieve in the far north, to Michigan's growing wine landscape, where visionaries like Chrishon Lampley have challenged expectations and expanded conversations around both region and representation, these wines remind us that innovation often comes from those willing to see possibility where others have not.
You'll encounter pioneering women who have opened doors for future generations, husband-and-wife teams working side by side, multi-generational family wineries preserving decades of knowledge, and collaborative partnerships proving that great wine is rarely the result of one person's efforts alone. Behind every bottle stands a network of growers, mentors, cellar workers, family members, friends, and communities whose collective contributions help transform grapes into something worth sharing.
This season's collection highlights both established voices and emerging innovators. Be among the first to experience an unreleased Sparkling Red from Tasha Durrett making wine at the Virginia Wine Collective, a project built on collaboration and a shared vision for the future of Virginia wine. Explore the creativity of André Mack and Maison Noir Wines through his vibrant Gamay Noir - a wine that celebrates individuality, curiosity, and the freedom to challenge convention. Discover the lasting influence of Carol Shelton, a woman wine forger whose accomplishments as a winemaker are matched only by her dedication to mentoring others and strengthening the industry she helped shape, as it did for her.
You'll also find unexpected discoveries like Bobesa Honey Mead from Maryland, where cultural heritage and tradition introduce a new perspective on what American beverage craftsmanship can be. Alongside classic expressions such as Pinot Noir from California's Central Coast in the San Luis Obispo hills, a sometimes forgotten area where a trio of women wine leaders are breathing new life into classic varietals - these wines showcase the breadth of experiences, traditions, and stories that make American wine so compelling.
At its heart, Vintage America is a celebration of freedom - not politics, but the freedom to explore, create, innovate, and share. The freedom to preserve traditions while embracing new ideas. The freedom to bring different perspectives, cultures, histories, and experiences to the same table. Most importantly, it is a reminder that while we may each arrive with our own story, there is still joy to be found in gathering together, raising a glass, and appreciating what each person brings to the conversation.
Because the story of American wine, much like America itself, continues to be written by many hands, many voices, and many perspectives - all contributing something worth sharing.
Together, these wines help build the table we're setting this summer - a table filled with stories, spirited conversation, shared traditions, and wines that remind us why we gather, celebrate, and connect.
At Shades of Vino, we believe great wine is ultimately about people. It is about the stories we share, the memories we create, the traditions we honor, and the new experiences that bring us together. Vintage America celebrates all of those things while recognizing that the American wine story continues to grow with every harvest, every bottle, and every voice willing to contribute to it.
As you explore this season's selections, we invite you to savor them. Share them. Let them spark conversation, curiosity, and connection around your table.
Because every bottle tells a story - and together, those stories help define who we are.
