A nicely polished Montepulciano with an enticing blend of ripe black berries, orange rind and perfumed oak on the nose and palate. Full bodied with an well-poised tannin framework that adds drive and length. A hint of chocolate comes through towards the end. Delicious now, but will continue to mature nicely in bottle.
