The name is a hat tip to Alonzo Harris: "to protect the sheep, you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf." Training Day, Movie

In Sheep's Clothing delivers a ripeness of fruit flavors while preserving the acidity that gives the medium to full-bodied wine a sense of freshness. The wine has a ripe fruit flavor with notes of cassis, blueberries, and black cherries, balanced by smooth tannins and a long finish. After fermentation, the wine spends 10 months aging in barrel, with 25% of the barrel being new French oak.

This wine fully embraces an integral part of classic Cabernet Sauvignon by highlighting a complex blend of dried herbs: anise, thyme and bay leaf.

The fruit for this wine comes from Columbia Valley - 60% from the Red Mountain AVA and 40% from the Wahluke Slope.
