2023 Beauchêne 'Vignobles de la Serrière, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, France

Deep and intense dark red color. Nose of ripe black cherry with hints of vanilla and anise. Palate displays notes of black cherry, bitter black chocolate with hints of vanilla. This is a powerful and complex wine with harmonious and well-balanced tannic structure. 

This is the most "flattering" of their Châteauneuf - gourmet, fruity and delicate. The marriage of two terroirs, clay-rolled pebbles and sandy soils, gives it this beautiful ease full of freshness and a beautiful texture with very fine and abundant tannins which have retained the finesse of the grain, like velvet. It can be tasted young but also after a few years. Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years
