Bring a little ease to the table. The 2025 Aslina Ndubs Rosé is a lively, fruit-forward South African rosé from Black woman winemaker Ntsiki Biyela. With sweet-melon and strawberry notes, it’s an inviting pour for a light lunch, catching up with friends, or turning an ordinary evening into something worth savoring.
Wine Details & Tasting Notes
Beautifully salmon-colored, this rosé offers ripe spanspek, or sweet melon, and strawberry aromas, with subtle earthy notes on the nose. Its lively, fruit-forward character makes it approachable without needing a special occasion.
Made from 100% Tempranillo, the grapes were hand-picked at optimum ripeness in late February 2025. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and bottled in May 2025.
Vintage: 2025. Origin: Stellenbosch, South Africa. Alcohol: 12.5% ABV. Bottle size: 750 mL.
Food Pairing
Try it with grilled shrimp, a strawberry-and-goat-cheese salad, lemon-herb chicken, or a light vegetable pasta. These serving suggestions complement its fruit-forward character and make choosing dinner feel a little easier.
Occasion
Pour it for a leisurely lunch, a picnic, or an easy dinner with friends. It’s also a thoughtful host gift for someone who enjoys discovering rosé beyond the usual regions.
