A silvery, salmon colored and rum-hued, elegant traditional-method sparkling rosé with strawberry, raspberry and cherry at its core, supported by fine bubbles, refreshing acidity and subtle yeasty complexity. Pinot Noir provides red-fruit character and structure, Chardonnay contributes freshness and finesse, while the small portion of Pinotage gives the blend a distinctly South African dimension.

Boschendal’s Cap Classique program is led by woman winemaker Danielle Coetsee, who joined the estate in 2017 and took the helm of its sparkling-wine program in 2020; that same year she was named Woman Winemaker of the Year at the SA Women’s Wine & Spirit Awards. Her precision with bottle-fermented sparkling wine gives this rosé both freshness and depth, making it especially versatile for fall entertaining, charcuterie and richer seasonal appetizers.
