Two generations of cidermakers inspired by the Basque region, their Korean heritage, and Old & New World winemaking practices. Their mission is to make remarkable cider with one simple ingredient: apples.

Brooklyn Cider House is a cider company with two main locations: a Basque-style restaurant, bar, and cidery in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and a farm and orchard in the Hudson Valley called Twin Star Orchards. They are known for their traditional cider-making methods, including Basque-style "catch" ceremonies at the restaurant, where diners drink cider streamed from large barrels. The company's philosophy emphasizes using unique, heirloom apple varieties from their sustainably farmed Twin Star Orchards to create diverse, quality ciders, with Peter Yi and his sister Susan Yi being the driving force behind the business.
