There are faint hints of passionfruit along with cranberry, and strawberry/cherry spa water on the nose with accents of fresh basil.

It's lively on the palate with bright, juicy acidity that electrifies fresh flavors of apple, quince, strawberries and ripe red cherry along with suggestions of white peach and blood orange. There are hints of minerality adding nice structure to the mouthfeel and fruitiness. It lingers a bit on citrus zest and red fruits and ends just as bright and fresh as it began.

The previous vintage sold out and a late frost in 2022 hampered usual production amounts, so they bottled less than 40% of normal production at a mere 80 cases. Get yours soon!

Victoria is a trailblazing winemaker, being the first black woman to  graduate from the UC Davis enology/viticulture program. She began her winemaking journey at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars as a production assistant to the winemaker, now the winemaker at Opus One. Along with a stellar blend of experience and accolades as roots, Victoria has the distinction of being the first black woman winemaker in the Napa Valley! She has produced the Lobo Cabernets since 2008 and now crafts all our red wines as well as our rosé. This year marks her 17th vintage for Lobo wines and her 20th anniversary as a winemaker!
