Its seductive deep pink glimmers in the glass, emanating ambrosial fragrances of alpine strawberries and roses. It dances over the palate, just sweet enough, perked up by a fine bead and a crystalline finish crisp as a mineral spring. One sip and you’ll wonder where it’s been all your life.  End result is wine that's delightfully refreshing with bright fruit, crisp acidity, a beautiful deep pink hue, and a tantalizing touch of sweetness.

A varietal blend of Gamay and Poulsard.

The Bugey is one of the best-kept secrets of France. A geographical crossroads between Savoie and Jura, Burgundy, and Rhône, this small region encompasses the mountainous eastern half of the Ain département. Situated between Lyon and Geneva, it is not considered a part of Savoie or the Jura, administratively or as a wine region. No mans land perhaps, It is really its own little enclave, home to steep calcareous mountainsides butting up against the western edge of the Alps, and subject to Alpine, continental, and Mediterranean influences to climate.  They craft this irresistible low-alcohol rosé using the méthode ancestrale, a rare technique that predates the méthode champenoise.
