Kumusha in the Zimbabwean Shona language translates to 'your home', 'your roots', or 'your origin'. From Zimbabwean refugee to one of South Africa's most decorated sommelier, Tinashe Nyamudoka crafts Kumusha (Shona for home) as a tribute to his adopted home, South Africa.

Delicate aromatics of red berries and white florals; bright and expressively juicy up front on the palate. The mid-palate is very smooth and slightly savory, and the finish long and round with some vibrancy coming from the acidity. This is a straight up flawless wine at an unbeatable price! Tinashe has never failed to impress with his talent, style and dedication to his passion, making it accessible for all to enjoy!

World renowned sommelier, Tinashe Nyamudoka believes the best wines are representative of their region. Through a collaborative process with respect to the vine, the winemaker, and the consumer, Tinashe is building a brand of wines that represent and honor your roots. Using a minimal intervention approach and natural fermentation, Tinashe's aim is to let the wine be free to do the talking of its origin and to provide a model for Black wine entrepreneurs to follow.

Kumusha is owned and operated by Tinashe Nyamudoka, one of South Africa’s most impressive, award-winning winemakers. In addition to Kumusha, Tinashe is an executive board member of the Black Cellar Club (BLACC), a non-profit organization that works to support black winemakers and sommeliers across the globe.
