2019 Somos Blanquito, White Blend, McLaren Vale, Fleurieu District, South Australia

Somos means, "we are" in spanish. 

The winemaker duo Australian born Ben Caldwell and Mexican winemaker Mauricio Ruiz Cantú have paired up for an unusual showing of what the McLaren Vale land can provide. 

These two really push boundaries for the areas potential with Mediterranean and native varietals. Unique grapes that really hit the mark for making delicious and thirst quenching wines from Somos are not to be missed.

Chiselled yellow citrus and lemon peel with a soft pink grapefruit edge. It is quite linear with a strong mineral-drive, leading to a texturally richer palate.  The finish brings a brininess to the table with citrus notes lingering.
