NV True Colors Cava Brut, Penedes-Catalonia, SP

TRUE COLOURS is a Cava from the Penedes region in Catalonia, Spain. It is a blend of the typical Cava varietals Parellada, Xarello and Macabeo with a touch of Chardonnay added. This blend combined with an aging process of 14 months contributes to an aromatic, crisp and balanced Cava.

This Cava produces a nose of ripe lemon and fresh baked brioche, subtle floral nuances giving way to generous notes of stone fruit, zesty citrus and a touch of minerality. It has an elegant yet full-bodied midpalate followed by a lingering finish with persistent, round bubbles.

True Colours was initially created for the Swedish market by Altia Sweden, in conjunction with the Cava producer Sumarrocca.  

True Colors was born from the desire to create something significant: a festive sparkling wine that not only represents the two sides' views on human rights, but also the joy and positivity of the mind.  

Altia Sweden the creator of True Colours Cava, recognized the growing consumer interest in products that support social issues and decided to join the movement. They created True Colours Cava in support of the social movements within the European markets for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) communities. They developed a fun product that promotes and promises “Love is Sparkling…and Social!”

Altia Sweden took it one step further and a portion of the proceeds from the sales of True Colours Cava, support The Rainbow Foundation and their efforts to the LGBTQ communities within Europe. Altia Sweden believes in doing good and having fun while doing it.

TRUE COLOURS CAVA is more than a Cava in a striking bottle. It is a social product that gives the possibility to contribute to projects in which we believe.
