It’s only available online but this is a solid, rich, full bodied Chardonnay for the old school crowd. The vanilla and butter action here is high and flavor profiles are well balanced, the wine has a nice grip on the palate.

When making Intercept Chardonnay we target bright acidity with a rich mid-palate created by the extended sur lie aging. Made from a single vineyard, in the Monterey AVA, our Chardonnay was brought in in the early morning hours and gently pressed. The juice fermented in barrels (a blend of French and Eastern European, 25% new) and stainless steel. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation and aged sur lie for 6 months.
