The power of eight dedicated South African women expressed in a bottle: HER! The HER collection is the first branded wine to come out of Adama Wines, an all-women run company from Wellington, South Africa.

Green-tinged, pale gold hues dance in the glass.. Delicate lime blossom, pear drop, subtle spice and white peach aromas lead to soft but still dry palate with rich apricot, pear and hints of fresh lemon and almond. Fresh rather than tart, with a well-integrated minerality, and very food-friendly.  Medium-bold but fresh vino with a lingering suppleness to finish.

This all-women led company to come out of Wellington, SA is made in such a way, you will taste the courage and joyful nature the producers implemented into making it, from the wine itself.

Having each spent several years working in the wine industry, we saw a gap in the market for an all-female, all-black business that could combine our skillsets to offer a unique proposition, a wine brand women could be proud of.

We don’t just have a female winemaker, every member of the team is female, a unique proposition. We see great opportunity to bring like-minded people together to share knowledge, inspire each other and extend our network across diverse communities in the South African Wine Industry.
