"The 70% of Sémillon in the blend gives this ripe, creamy wine honey and pink grapefruit aromas. It is rich, the creamy texture and apple purée taste emphasizing the wine's full body. Drink now."

This family-owned and operated estate on the “Right Bank” is owned and operated by Vignobles Dulon, a family with 250 years of history in Bordeaux spanning 10 Generations. Located in Solignac near Entre-Deux-Mers, where clay and limestone dominate the soil structure and the oldest property in the family holdings spanning 100 hectares. Here, the vines are carefully tended, debudded to control vigor, with leaf removal and cluster thinning to enhance the flavors. The property holds the HVE3 certification for sustainability.  Bordeaux is synonymous with greatness—and rules. They govern everything from which varieties can be planted and where to when grapes can be picked. Bordeaux’s young winemakers, however, are bending those rules to create more complex flavors in the glass. Millennial sisters Sophie and Carole Dulon age some of this wine in—gasp!—American oak barrels, resulting in a bolder-flavored red.
