2021 Marble Red Blend, Sonoma Valley, California

Their debut blend, Marble Red is a medium-bodied stunner that’s neither too dry nor too sweet. With notes of dark berries, fresh plum, and raspberry compote, this velvety-smooth blend is designed to please both red wine aficionados and those just dipping their toes into the world of reds. Chardonnay, Barbera, and Zinfandel, while not explicitly defined, the description notes the Chardonnay provides a creamy texture, the Barbera adds a tangy, red currant, and spicy note, and the Zinfandel contributes black pepper and smokiness, creating a rich, dark berry and plum profile with soft tannins and a lingering, lingering finish. 

Marble Wines is a minority- and women-owned brand founded by attorney LaToya Jordan and singer-songwriter Brianna Shelko. The company focuses on diversity and empowering women in the wine industry through its wines, labels, and curated events. The winemaker is Chris Christensen, a master blender and self-taught vintner, (the genius behind America’s first sparkling Sauvignon Blanc).
