Offering a harmonious balance of fruit and earthy notes. On the nose, it presents fresh aromas of cherries, strawberries, and plums, complemented by subtle hints of violets and dried tomato. The palate reveals polished berry flavors intertwined with mild spice and mineral undertones, supported by fine tannins and balanced acidity. This medium-bodied wine delivers a smooth texture a bit rustic, persistent, refreshing finish.

The Argatia winery is located in Rodohori just 12 km northwest of Naoussa. The vineyards are planted at an elevation of 540 meters. This is a delicious, accessible red wine made of the local Greek varieties of Xinomavro, Negkoska and Mavrodaphne.

The small familial enterprise of Argatia was founded in 2000 by Panagiotis Georgiadis, specialist in collective actions of viti-vinicultural sector and Dr Haroula Spinthiropoulou, agronomist, specialist in viticulture, writer of the book “Grapevine varieties of Greece” his well-known  and makes a significant impact on the Greek wine industry.  She is the co-owner and winemaker at Argatia.

The word Argatia is referred to a very important institution of the Greek agricultural society of Pontos meaning "Cooperation for the achievement of a common purpose”.
