Wine Details & Tasting Notes

From South Africa’s Western Cape, this non-vintage white blends 55% Chenin Blanc and 45% Chardonnay. Yellow apple, lime, and chamomile greet you on the nose, followed by honeysuckle, citrus, and jasmine on the palate. Balanced acidity keeps its fruit-forward character refreshing, while two months on lees add complexity.

Bottle size: 750 mL. Alcohol: less than 0.5% ABV. This is a dealcoholized wine, not an alcohol-free 0.0% beverage.

Noughty was created by Amanda Thomson, founder of Thomson & Scott, a woman-owned company. This Blanc starts with grapes from dry-land-farmed Western Cape vineyards, where Atlantic breezes help cool the southwest-facing slopes. After fermentation and lees aging, gentle spun-cone technology removes alcohol under vacuum at low temperatures to preserve the wine’s body and flavor.
