Domaine de la Solitude is one of the Rhône Valley’s most historic estates — founded in 1264 and managed by the Lançon family for generations. Best known for their celebrated Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, the domaine also produces this exceptional Côtes du Rhône Rouge — a classic southern Rhône blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre that delivers the elegance and depth of a much more expensive wine. Over 50% of the grapes come from Côtes du Rhône Villages vineyards, grown in the stony limestone and clay soils typical of the southern Rhône, and crafted at the cutting edge of wine technology while maintaining the traditional winemaking methods that have defined this estate for over seven centuries. Currently managed by Florent Lançon, this is a wine of genuine pedigree at an outstanding price.
