Les Dunes du Cap-Ferret, located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux has been in the Barthe family for 7 generations since 1789. The vineyards passed from father to son for seven generations: from Jean to Pierre, from Pierre to Marcel… until Véronique Barthe, the first girl in the family since the French Revolution, inherited the family estate in 1990. She has devoted all her passion and energy to giving new impetus to the estate, by applying her exacting standards and personal, feminine touch. As the present owner and oenologist of this 75-hectare estate, Veronique Barthe, inherited the chateau in 1990 and is the first female winemaker in the family history. She is now producing award winning wines. 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon from 25 year old vines on clay and limestone soils. Veronique and her husband Philippe also own the prestigious Château d’Arcole in Saint-Èmilion, the first organic and biodynamic vineyard in Bordeaux.

The Véronique Barthe Vineyards extend over 80 hectares located in the heart of L'Entre-Deux-Mers in the communes of Targon, Faleyras, Daignac and Espiet. With an average age of 25 years, the vines produce high quality white and red grapes.
