A smooth, fruit-forward but fully robust with flavor Tejo red with ripe red fruit, spice and a supple, harmonious structure. Aragonez brings ripe berry character, Syrah contributes darker fruit and spice, and Castelão adds a distinctly Portuguese savory edge, with soft tannins and enough freshness to make the wine approachable without losing regional character.

Casal da Coelheira is a three-generation Portuguese family estate founded after José and Xinanda Rodrigues acquired the property in 1986 and developed it with their son Nuno. Today the wines are made by Nuno Falcão Rodrigues together with woman winemaker Margarida Falcão Rodrigues, both trained in Agro-Industrial Engineering at Portugal’s Higher Institute of Agronomy. Their Terraços do Tejo combines recognizable Syrah with Portuguese Aragonez and Castelão, delivering ripe fruit, spice and savory warmth ideal for fall stews, sausages and roasted vegetables.
