The grapes were hand-picked at optimum ripeness in the beginning of March 2025. The wine wasfermented in a staineless - steel tank and bottled in June 2025.

Ntsiki Biyela is celebrated as the "First Lady of South African Wine," recognized as the country's first Black female winemaker. After graduating from Stellenbosch University in 2003, she broke barriers in a male-dominated industry, eventually launching her own boutique brand, Aslina Wines, in 2017. Named after her grandmother, Aslina showcases award-winning, high-quality wines—including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon—that reflect both her personal heritage and the terroir of South Africa.
