Kumusha in the Zimbabwean Shona language translates to 'your home', 'your roots', or 'your origin'.

World renowned sommelier, Tinashe Nyamudoka believes the best wines are representative of their region. Through a collaborative process with respect to the vine, the winemaker, and the consumer, Tinashe is building a brand of wines that represent and honor your roots. Using a minimal intervention approach and natural fermentation, Tinashe's aim is to let the wine be free to do the talking of its origin and to provide a model for Black wine entrepreneurs to follow.

Kumusha is owned and operated by Tinashe Nyamudoka, one of South Africa’s most impressive, award-winning winemakers. In addition to Kumusha, Tinashe is an executive board member of the Black Cellar Club (BLACC), a non-profit organization that works to support black winemakers and sommeliers across the globe.

Apple, white peach, lemon zest & winter melon flavours. Unabashed richness and
sensuality in the fruit, balanced by a surprisingly taut and minerally acidity. A beautifully textured mouthfeel complementing rich white meat & asian inspired dishes. Drinks best for up to 6 years.

Roussanne, 35% Chenin Blanc, 13% Colombar& 4% Semillon

Wine Enthusiast - "Ripe yellow melon, baked apple, lemon custard and pear-tart aromas all abound on the nose of this rich, golden-hued wine made from 55% Roussanne, 15% Chenin Blanc, 12% Viognier, 9% Sémillon and 9% Colombard. Those notes all carry through to the medium-weight mouth, where additional tones of grilled pineapple and peach add even more fruity depth and richness. Ample acidity keeps the concentration in check, while a subtle texture lends some framework and interest through the close."
