NV Frichette Just Knock Red, Red Mountain AVA, Columbia Valley, Washington

This 2024-2025 vintage-blend Red Mountain blend brings together red and black fruit with soft tannins and flavors of red cherry, raspberry and blackberry, followed by nuances of vanilla and caramel on the finish. 2024 Merlot provides supple fruit, 2024 Cabernet Franc adds aromatic lift and structure, and 2025 Malbec deepens the darker-fruit character with that enhanced texture and ageability and fruit depth.

Frichette Winery is a Black-owned, family-operated Red Mountain winery founded by husband-and-wife Greg and Shae Frichette. Shae is a Black woman, co-owner and co-winemaker who works directly alongside Greg on vineyard sourcing, barrel selection and final blending decisions. Just Knock’s unconventional multi-vintage blend fits the exploratory theme beautifully, while its combination of Merlot softness, Cabernet Franc structure and Malbec depth provides the warming fruit and texture that feel especially right as autumn temperatures drop.
