This Vinho Verde Vinhão presents a striking, deep ruby-red color with intense violet undertones and a vibrant, fine effervescence that makes it a distinct red sparkling wine. On the nose, the gentle bubbles help lift an elegant bouquet dominated by fresh wild berries, particularly blackberries and raspberries, complemented by subtle rustic and herbal nuances. The palate is vibrantly alive, where the crisp sparkling sensation enhances the varietal's trademark high acidity and structured, slightly astringent tannic profile. This sparkling texture creates a remarkably fresh, crisp, and clean mouthfeel, balancing the medium body and leaving a lingering impression of tart dark fruit with a pleasantly dry, authentic Portuguese character.

Vinho Verde, in north-western Portugal, is a region of rivers and mountains, valleys and plains. Granite soils influence both the vines and the architecture in the region.

Vinhão is a rare grape in other parts of the world, but the most planted, deep-purple grape in Portugal known for its colored pulp, piercing acidity, and rustic wild berry flavors that perfectly cut through rich, fatty dishes.

The entire vineyard area, 105 hectares, is managed via an Integrated Production System. Natural methods are also preferred in the cellar, for example using gravity for the passage of wine (rather than electricity).
