Treveri Cellars Sparkling Syrah is a groundbreaking, deep-ruby sparkling red wine within the greater Columbia Valley AVA. This unique, 100% Syrah sparkler pours with a beautiful red effervescence, opening with an aromatic bouquet of black cherry, wild raspberry, and a distinct hint of tobacco. On the palate, it delivers a rich, flavorful profile balancing dark berry fruits with classic Syrah notes of black pepper, savory spice, and complex yeast tones, leading to a dry, tart, and crisp finish. 

This was one of the most interesting and delicious finds - classic Syrah from Washington state. Representation of past pursuits turned gold (this is how classic Syrah is to WA) with an added silver sparkle of modern innovation - red bubbles - Celebration in a bottle. Need we say more....

The creation of a pioneering family that established Treveri Cellars in 2010 as Washington State’s first and only exclusively sparkling-only wine house. Founded by head owner and winemaker Juergen Grieb, a native of Germany who brought over 30 years of Old World winemaking expertise to the Pacific Northwest, the winery is a true family operation where Juergen crafts the wine alongside his son, Christian. Crucial to the winery's foundation and ongoing success is the heavy involvement of women in executive leadership. Julie Grieb, Juergen’s wife, left a 25-year career in banking to serve as the co-owner and General Manager from its inception, steering the business side of the house and dedicating herself to regional wine boards. The family tradition continues with Katie Grieb, who serves as the Senior VP of Marketing, leveraging her corporate expertise to shape and elevate the brand's presence nationwide, ensuring this remarkable Sparkling Syrah—which has even been served at White House State Department receptions—continues to reach wine enthusiasts everywhere
