2020 Lumos 5 Block Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon

This Pinot features a moderate reddish-purple hue with prominent aromas of dark red fruits, robust cherry, and notes of spice and herbs on the nose. On the palate, black cherry is the core flavor, supported by the same spice and herbal accents, with mild tannins and a velvety, satisfying texture leading to an intense finish.

Dai Crisp and his wife PK McCoy are the owners of Lumos Wine Company, which they founded in 2000. Dai Crisp also acts as a winemaker, a role he shares with Julia Cattrall and his son, Boone McCoy-Crisp. The winemakers at Lumos follow a minimal-intervention approach that aligns with their organic farming practices.
